Baby Joseph is a collectible reborn art doll and was reborn using my customized palette of colors created with Genesis Heatset Paints.

Many paint layers were carefully applied to achieve realistic skin tone depth and shading.  Between the skin tone layers, subtle veining and capillaries were added to give each paint layer the natural appearance of blood flow. These many layers achieved a neutral skin tone with warm and cool yellow and blue undertones.  Baby’s skin has been sealed many times with a varnish combination meant to protect and leave his skin with the appearance of textured pores and a realistic feel. With beautiful blue glass eyes, this baby boy’s tear ducts, nostrils, lips, and the inside of his ears have slight glossing to give the appearance of moisture. 10 tiny fingers and 10 tiny toes have been tipped to show very fine nail edges and glossed to show the nail depth.

Baby Joseph can wear pretty much anything with full arms and legs. The belly plate painted to match his skin allows for him to showcase his chubby rolls. He has a doe suede cloth body with an enclosed custom kuddle pouch that has been weighted to help him feel like a real baby around his age. He has a strong earth magnet inside his head so that he can take a magnetized pacifier. Caution should be used when holding him around people with pacemakers.

This doll is a handmade piece of art that is made with magnets and glass beads. It is not a toy. Adult supervision is strongly advised.
